This policy covers this website and its two email lists. The hosted service will have its own policy when it opens.

What we collect
If you join a list: your email address, which list you joined, when you signed up and confirmed, and your answer to the optional question if you gave one. We don't record the IP address you signed up from. To stop abuse, the forms count recent requests from each IP address in memory and forget them within ten minutes; they're never written down.
Reading this site
Collects nothing. No cookies, no scripts but our own, nothing loaded from anyone else, and the server keeps no log of visits.
Why
To send what you signed up for. Nothing else.
Who else handles it
DigitalOcean rents us the server this site and the lists run on. SMTP2GO delivers our emails, so it handles each recipient's address and the email itself. We use them for nothing else, and your address is never sold, rented, or shared for advertising.
What we don't do
No ads, no cookies, no trackers, no analytics, and no tracking pixels or tracked links in our emails. The small jellyfish picture in our emails loads from this site's own server, which keeps no log.
How long we keep it
Until you leave. An address that's never confirmed is deleted after seven days.
Leaving
Every email has a link at the bottom to leave, and the form below sends you one. One press on the page it opens, and your record is deleted at once. Your mail app's own Unsubscribe button does the same. Any backup copy of the list is encrypted and kept no more than seven days, so a deleted address is gone from those within a week. Leave the list.
What we hold about you
Your address, the list you joined, when, and your optional answer. Leaving deletes all of it.
Do Not Track
We don't track you on this site or any other, so the signal changes nothing here.
Children
This site isn't directed at children under 13.
Changes
Posted here with a new date, and emailed to the lists if they matter.
